Yesterday, the 12/12 portal opened, and for those of us who have been putting in the (spiritual) work this year, you probably experienced a lot energetically. All day I maintained a general feeling of excitement and joy, even though I definitely had moments of confronting some shadows and illusions. I wanted to start this new energetic cycle off positively so I packed my day with soul nurturing activities such as breakfast with a close friend, exercising, going to therapy, watching Helen Mirren’s @masterclass on acting, and ending the day with orchestra practice. I came to many realizations, or maybe I’ll refer to them as rememberings, as enlightenment is really more about recovering our truth by shedding the layers of illusion we tend to hold onto so tightly. The most important remembering I had yesterday is this: Every human being incarnated at this time, has come to Earth to help YOU evolve. Whether we are aware of it or not, this is exactly our mission. Simple, isn’t it? Simple and devastatingly beautiful. What does it mean to evolve? It doesn’t mean to reach some point of perfection, where we’re finally complete - a model representation of what a human “should” be, so that every human thereafter can live in the exact same way and therefore be perfect too. No. To evolve is to change. To evolve is to outgrow a way of being and believing, and transform into another way of being and living. Each of us is here to help us all do just that. When we view humanity in this way, we can truly see each human for what (s)he truly is: Not an ego or personality to exploit, but a soul to teach and learn from. In this way, we can step fully into a place of gratitude for all persons, even those we’d sooner judge, or not associate with. This answers the age-old question, “WHY ARE WE HERE?” The truth is we serve many purposes throughout our lifetime. But our ultimate purpose is to evolve, and enjoy the process of our evolution. By enjoying the process of our evolution, we grant others permission to do the same 🧝🏼‍♀️
In the aftermath of the #CaliforniaFires, thousands of people remain displaced from their homes. Even now, the smell of smoke hangs in the air when I go visit my mom, Linda, (AKA the #DetoxQueen), in Malibu. Her home and community were thankfully saved by a few heroic neighbors. She wrote a detailed piece on how to properly #detox the body and lungs after breathing smoke. It’s definitely worth taking the time to read and implement the practices she recommends as they can help prevent bigger problems down the road. It takes two minutes to call your Reps. #Witches, it's time to #hex !!! 💀💀💀 The raping and murdering of native women in South Dakota continues because of the Dakota Access Pipeline. Remember when we were all #Instagramming about #DAPL two years ago around this time? Obama announced the Pipeline had stopped. Then Trump took office and the destruction continued. I will never give a shred of praise to any administration that does nothing to protect the land and #FirstNations. Our technology is too advanced, resources and money are too abundant for us to continue to support the #fossilfuel industry the way we are.
