Hey y'all, IT HAS BEEN A MINUTE. I told you I was going to suck at this. Can I just say I don't love sitting down at a computer? Can I just say that I'd rather someone else update my website for me? Can I just say that I much prefer being out in nature, or writing in my actual journal, or meditating, or connecting in person with my loved ones, or playing with my dogs, making music, making love, or cooking? It's not that I don't love my friends and followers. It's just that I think my time and your time are better spent doing something active, spiritual, playful, or relaxing. That being said, you are here now, and since you are, I'll update you on all goings on in my life at the moment.
As you'll see, I've got some new photos up around the website. I had the pleasure of working again with Viktorija Pashuta, who did all the photography. I also had a kick-ass glam squad in Jesse J Collections, and Barbara Yniguez Redman. I've been working my little tuchus off to create some dope ass new music. I'm SO excited about what is happening y'all. I don't have a deffffffinite release date on my debut album, but I'm shooting for sometime this summer. On the acting side of things, we are just wrapping up pilot season here in L.A. It lasted all of about 5 minutes I think. Some great auditions, but no cigar. Since I can't, and won't, rest on my LAURELs - (only true fans will understand) - I joined a new acting class, which has been a fun challenge. I also intern at a yoga studio near my house in exchange for free yoga. I can't tell you what a smart move this was on my part. It's the gift that keeps on giving. This Sunday I'll be joining the cast of 'Are You There God, It's Me Margot', for a table read for season two. If you haven't watched season one yet, I honestly am not even sure what you're still waiting for, go watch it at areyoutheregoditsmemargot.com right now! We had a blasty-blast making season one, so I'm really excited to be playing Denny again. At the end of next week I'll be heading back to Nashville to play some music at the Bluebird Cafe with Tom Hambridge and friends. I'll also have some news regarding 'Girls Guts Glory' to share soon, but for now I'm signing off. This horse needs a long winter's nap.
As always, I'm wishing you love, humor, and good music.
